The purpose of this study is to explore stakeholder attitudes, perceptions, beliefs and values associated with the development of biofuels in the Pacific Northwest. The main objective is to identify the social acceptability (both desirable and undesirable) of biofuels production in the region using hybrid poplar (also known as cellulosic or wood-based biofuel) as feed stock. Your responses will help inform alternatives for planning, and mitigation of biofuel production and distribution, and will help improve social outcomes of this developing industry.
